On March 26, 2024, Directive (EU) 2024/825 entered into force, introducing new, obligatory legal rules for environmental claims and sustainability labels in B2C comunication. For the first time, the EU has clearly defined what constitutes permissible environmental advertising – and what will be considered unfair commercial practices in the future.
These requirements must be implemented in advertising communications by September 27, 2026 at the latest – so now is the time to become familiar with the new legal framework.
Join our online seminar with a legal expert and an expert for certification program design to learn:
- How Directive (EU) 2024/825 specifically impacts advertising and communication practices related to environmental claims in the EU.
- What new requirements the Directive introduces for the use of sustainability labels.
